A family business with a 40-year-long tradition.
The origins of the company date back to 1980, when the founder Žare Šepic began to produce simple self-adhesive labels as a sole proprietor. He soon moved on to other more demanding printed materials. The hiring of the first workers, the move to larger premises and the acquisition of modern automated machines ushered in a new era for the printing company with production starting to ramp up and the product range becoming increasingly diverse.
At the beginning of the new millennium, on 25 February 2001, the company transformed into a limited liability company TISK ŠEPIC d.o.o. The ever-increasing volume of work and the wider range of products were the reason for the construction of a large, new, modern printing facility at the Livada industrial estate in Novo Mesto. Our facilities currently extend over an area of 3000 square metres; we have 32 employees and state-of-the-art technology.
In 2012, we were awarded the ISO 9001 quality management system certification. The certificate is proof that product quality and customer satisfaction are the company’s number one priority. By obtaining the quality management system certification, we have established a solid and measurable system for determining the quality, which enables us to achieve our aims even more effectively, to accurately recognize and fulfil the requirements of our customers, build trust and form long-term business partnerships, and constantly monitor and make improvements in the business processes.
In 2021, we also successfully obtained the FSC® certificate (FSC-C172697), which contributes to responsible forest management and demonstrates our commitment and contribution to environmental protection and sustainable development. At the end of 2022, we also obtained the ISO 15378 certificate, which outlines the requirements for a quality management system and is used for primary packaging materials for medicinal products. It is an upgrade to the ISO 9001 standard and represents an important step forward in improving the quality of both packaging and the entire packaging manufacturing process. Obtaining this certificate demonstrates that we are capable of consistently providing products and services that meet customer requirements as well as legal and regulatory requirements, thereby ensuring high-quality, safe and effective medicine (including primary packaging in contact with medicinal products).
With the help of modern technological equipment and highly trained staff, our company offers the customers a wide range of graphic services. This includes consulting, graphic design, print preparation and the actual implementation in a wide variety of printing techniques. Our services include digital printing, flexo printing, UV printing, computer-aided cutting of graphics from a wide variety of materials, offset printing, screen printing, textile printing, pad printing and vehicle wraps.
Our vision is to create a pleasant working environment that will provide the whole staff with enough challenges and motivation to successfully carry out the company’s quality policy. By implementing a wide range of work processes, strengthening business and partnership relations in all areas and following the technological development of the graphic industry, we want to consolidate our position as one of the leading printing companies in Slovenia.
